Bushehr Steel Complex
Bushehr Steel Complex is located on a site of approximately 800,000 square meters in Ganaveh County, Bushehr Province. The complex operates eight production lines along the steel supply chain, including iron concentrate, iron ore pellets, sponge iron, electric arc furnaces for the production of steel billets and slabs, a steel sheet production line, and steel pipe production lines in various types, including welded, spiral, and seamless pipes.
Objectives of Bushehr Steel Complex
- Producing the country’s required steel products through a complete supply chain, from raw materials such as iron concentrate to finished products including rebar, steel sheets, and more.
- Creating employment for over 3,000 people directly and 5,000 people indirectly.
- Meeting a significant portion of the country’s steel product demand and preventing the outflow of foreign currency.
